SAMIKO (TSELEPI)  

Samiko is a relatively small village smeared along the base of a hill called Skillountas, placed at distance of 4 Km, southernwestern of Krestena city having 566 inhabitants.

 

RESOURSES

 

THE HORIZON VIEW from the small church of St. George (basilica  1952), 2Km southerneaste of the village, is mainly focused towards the Agoulinitsa valley and Ionian sea.

 

THE MAGESTIC CONE SHAPED FOREST, named Strofilia lying along the sandside sea, 1 Km away from the village, composes a magnificaut site which seldom can be viewed.

 

ST. MARINA is a small church having a nice natural water source, tying 0,5 Km to the north of the village, an ideal place for pic-nic due to the full green background view.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW

LOCAL FESTIVALS:  A fair on May 21 and 22 with musical groups, roast pork, etc.
