A
newly built village on the national road Pyrgos-Kiparissia.
It was transferred there from the two villages of Krouni (Risovo)
and Ladiko after the disastrous earthquake in 1965.
It is 2
km west of Krestena and has 1314
residents.
SIGHTS
THE ABANDONED VILLAGE OF LADIKO
with the old houses, the deserted lanes and the basilic
church of St. Dimitrios (built in 1847),
with the exceptional iconography on the icon screen and
ceiling.
THE ABANDONED VILLAGE OF KROUNI (RISΟVO)
with the magnificent basilic church of St Panteleimonas
(built in 1874) in the centre of the village, the
beautiful view and the old fountain "Tourna"at the entrance of the village
(from Krestena). The water is of finest quality.
It is beautifully formed with lots of shade from the maple trees.

A fair in Risovo on July 27 (in
honour of St. Panteleimonas) , with folk groups
and roast pork.
